This book exists because of you - even if you don’t realise it yet.

You didn’t save me.

That’s not the weight any child should carry.

But Giada you gave me reason to stop running from myself.

You made me look at the foundations I was standing on and made me ask if they were ever strong enough for the future I wanted for you all.

I want you to grow up knowing this:

You don’t need to be perfect to be loved.

You don’t need to earn rest.

You don’t need to shrink yourself to fit into someone else’s expectations.

If you ever feel lost - build slowly.

If you ever feel broken - you’re not defective, just human.

If you ever feel like you’ve failed - remember that rebuilding is not quitting.

This book is a reminder of the work I chose to do - not just for myself,

but so, the cycle could end with me.

So that you never have to unlearn your worth the way I did.

Everything I rebuild now,
